How to Avoid Moving Brokers

Even when looking for office movers, there are moving brokers out there trying to make as much money off of you as possible. It can be difficult to decipher which Napa Valley office movers are legitimate and which are the brokers. Here are some of the things to look out for:

License Number: Your potential mover should have this listed at the bottom of their website. Check out the details using the USDOT Lookup.
Address: Look for an address on their website and search it on your online map. Getting a street view will let you quickly see if its a real moving company.
Big Deposits: Always avoid big deposits. Most movers don’t ask for a deposit, and only some ask for a small “Good Faith” deposit. This is a big red flag.
