Moving to American Canyon

American Canyon is known as the Gateway to the Napa Valley and is colloquially called “AmCan”. The city is roughly a 15-minute drive from Napa itself, where you can find a plethora of world-class vineyards, wineries, and restaurants. You can choose to explore these via the California Winery Shuttles and Tours. The city is a 45-minute drive from San Francisco and an hour away from the ocean.

In American Canyon itself, there are many exciting things to do. If you like parks, the American Canyon Wetlands Trail and Lynch Canyon Open Space are great for hiking and bird-watching. Elliot Park includes many amenities, including basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and a community garden. For dog owners, the American Canyon Dog Park is a grassy enclosure with plenty of room for dogs to run and a playground for kids to stretch their legs.

For shopping enthusiasts, there are several different options. Canyon Plaza is a shopping center that hosts small businesses. The Highway 29 Swap Meet is an eclectic collection of items from clothes and jewelry to comic books, furniture, fresh produce, and more. The Napa-Vallejo Flea Market is open Sundays, year-round.

If you enjoy visiting farms, you’ll want to make sure to stop by the American Canyon Strawberries patch. Don’t be fooled by the name; they also grow blueberries, apricots, cherries, garlic, and onions. You should also visit Marshall’s Farm Honey for a raw, unfiltered authentic honey experience.

As if that weren’t enough, American Canyon is filled with even more activities. In this quaint city, you can explore the arts, paintball, a skate park, horseback riding, and a casino.

Turner was excellent every step of the way. We used them as a receiving dock for an out of town project then they did a 3 day move for us delivering all the pieces and assembling and placing furniture. Their movers were so hard-working, fun to work with, kind, positive, efficient, and supported us in a very large project. The receiving dock was very detailed and diligent in marking any damage and making required returns to make sure we had high quality and damage-free furniture on move-in day. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Napa / Bay Area!

Just had Brandon and his crew ( Juan,Santiago, & Fernandes ) move us locally across town and they they did a stellar job. They all were very professional, efficient and had excellent customer service. Would highly recommend Turner Moving and will spread the word.
